Every therapist (and client) is unique. I would like to take the time to let you know the “process” side of things should we work together. I believe structure is an important part of therapy that allows us both to look forward to working together.
If you would like to reserve an initial session with me, I require a 10-15 minute connection call to determine if we are the best fit for each other.
If we’re a good fit, which I am confident we will be if you got this far, there are a few things you need to know about how I run my practice…
BEFORE WE GET STARTED
Before we hop on the phone for a call, I am out of network with all insurance.
I do not take insurance because it hinders the client’s confidentiality as we have to share information with a third party. We also have to receive permission to work together from someone who isn’t involved in our relationship and that doesn’t align with my values.
Limiting the involvement of third-party payers allows the therapeutic process to have a greater degree of autonomy and privacy. You are welcome to use your health savings account pre-tax funds. Additionally, many PPO’s, but not all (HMO and EPO) health insurance policies allow for participants to choose out-of-network mental health providers and submit a superbill for reimbursement.
Please consult with your insurance company if you plan on submitting psychotherapy statements for reimbursement as it is not a guarantee that you will receive any reimbursement by submitting a superbill. There is a diagnostic requirement associated with services reimbursed by insurance and not everyone seeking therapy has a diagnosis.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
We meet at least once a week for weekly 50 minute sessions. It is my belief as a therapist you can dive deeper, heal more, and thrive faster when therapy occurs weekly. Once we have a great rapport established and your progress increases, we can move to every other week. This will likely be at a different time than your original slot.
INVESTMENT COSTS: $275/50 Minutes The fee is for the time slot booked and additional time will be charged at an incremental amount.
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy for sessions. I honor that this is different from a 24-hour policy; I’m different from most therapists 😉 If you are unable to make your session for any reason, even illness, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance to avoid being charged a late cancellation fee in the amount of your full session fee. It is up to my discretion to decide if exceptions are made. I understand emergencies happen and I value your honesty.
We have the option to meet virtually if you are unable to attend in person
